FieldSnap is a field photo report app that allows users to add photos, write comments, enter job or site details, and create PDF reports on their device.

Summary: FieldSnap is designed to work offline. The App does not require an account, does not display ads, and does not intentionally collect or sell personal information.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

FieldSnap does not require users to create an account or sign in. We do not intentionally collect:

Name, email address, phone number, or account information
Precise location information
Payment information
Contact list information
Advertising ID for advertising purposes
Analytics data for tracking users across apps or websites

2. Photos, Report Content, and PDF Files

The App may allow you to add photos, comments, report titles, site names, dates, worker names, and other report details.

This information is used only to create and manage your reports on your device. Report data, photos, and generated PDF files are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export them using your device's sharing features.

3. Camera and Photo Access

FieldSnap may request access to your camera or photos so that you can add images to your field reports.

Camera and photo access is used only for the report creation features of the App. The App does not upload your photos to our servers.

4. Storage and File Access

FieldSnap may save report data and PDF files on your device. Depending on your Android version and device settings, the App may request storage, media, or file-related permissions to save, open, export, or share reports.

These permissions are used only for app features such as saving reports, exporting PDF files, and sharing files selected by the user.

5. Sharing Reports

When you choose to share a PDF report or other file, the selected file may be sent to another app or service, such as email, messaging apps, cloud storage apps, or business tools.

Once you share a file with another app or service, the handling of that file is governed by the privacy policy and terms of that third-party app or service.

6. Internet Connection

FieldSnap is designed to work offline. The core report creation features do not require an internet connection.

If your device or operating system uses cloud backup, file synchronization, or sharing services, those services are controlled by you and your device settings, not by FieldSnap.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Tracking

FieldSnap does not display third-party ads and does not use third-party advertising SDKs for behavioral advertising.

FieldSnap does not sell personal information and does not track users across other apps or websites.

8. Analytics and Crash Reports

FieldSnap does not intentionally collect analytics data that identifies individual users.

In some cases, app stores or operating systems may provide developers with aggregated, non-personal information such as install statistics, crash reports, device type, or country-level usage data. This information is provided by the platform and is used only to improve app stability and performance.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Reports, photos, comments, and PDF files created in FieldSnap are stored on your device. You can delete your reports or files from within the App, if the App provides that feature, or by deleting the files from your device storage.

If you uninstall the App, locally stored app data may be deleted depending on your device and operating system settings.

10. Children’s Privacy

FieldSnap is intended for general productivity and business use. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Security

We aim to keep the App simple and privacy-friendly by storing report data locally on your device. However, no device, app, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please manage your reports carefully, especially if they contain confidential business information, customer information, property information, or photos of private locations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
